Marine Forces Pacific Home Page In 1992, Marine Forces Pacific was designated a Service Component Headquarters. Today MFP has three operational commanders: the Commander-in-Chief Pacific Command, Commander-in-Chief Central Command and Commander, U.S. Forces Korea. Additionally, MFP provides Marine forces to deploy with Navy Fleets, and maintains critical aviation links with the Navy. Although not located on Okinawa, MFP is the higher headquarters for the III Marine Expeditionary Force.
Commander Fleet Activities, Okinawa  Home Page The Commander Fleet Activities, Okinawa maintains and operates facilities and to provide services in support of operational units of the Navy; provides logistical support for other Navy units on Okinawa; provides other logistical support, coordination and services as tasked by higher authority; and maintains liaison with other U.S. military services and civil administrators on Okinawa as necessary to perform assigned tasks and functions.
Kadena Air Base Home Page The 18th Wing and Kadena Air Base is responsible for resources including F-15, KC-135, E-3 AWACS and HH-60 aircraft valued at over $4 billion, as well as other equipment and capital assets valued at about $2 billion. The base also provides infrastructure support to U.S. Army, Navy and Marine Corps forces assigned to or transiting Kadena.
10th Area Support Group Home Page The 10th Area Support Group provides the Army's forward presence on Okinawa; Command & Control of assigned and attached units; and installation, logistic, and contingency support to all Army and selected Joint Activities and personnel on or transiting Okinawa.
