Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots

Maj. Scott Flagg, reserve liaison officer for III Marine Expeditionary Force, and Col. Kurt Lang, G-1 assistant chief of staff for III MEF, place the first toy in a collection box Nov. 7 during the Marine Corps Reserve 2009 Toys for Tots Okinawa Campaign opening ceremony at the Kadena Army and Air Force Exchange Service. There are collection boxes at all exchanges, chapels, and personnel service centers on all military bases island wide for new unwrapped children's gifts. Toys for all ages are accepted with a greater need for toys for older children. The Okinawa Toys for Tots campaign ensures children of military families and eligible local community members receive a toy for Christmas. Last year more than 13,000 toys were collected and distributed. (Photo by Lance Cpl. Kentavist P. Brackin).
